Aerowave transoms are built to a commercial specification rather than a light recreational standard, to support heavier outboard loads. The model’s published maximum horsepower, shaft length and capacity still apply. Never exceed the rating plate.

The four problems Aerowave builds around
Thermo-welded primary seams avoid relying on glue for the main seam bond.
Viper and Sport hulls use 1.2 mm / 1500 GSM German VALMEX® Heavy Plus fabric. The AeroCat uses 0.9 mm / 1100 decitex German VALMEX® to stay lighter.
Automatic over-pressure relief valves are fitted across the range to help manage heat-related pressure increases.
The Viper has a 380 mm anti-cavitation transom designed to help keep the prop in the water. Loading, motor setup and conditions still matter.
